What is Life Counseling?
It is a counseling department which has been established by Life Church. It is facilitated by qualified lay counselors and a counselor who is also qualified as social worker, so as to assist in healing journey.
It consists of two related sections; the Prayer and Specialist Counseling Ministry and the Lay Counseling (Psychology).The two sections are carefully taken care by a team of professionals.
Annemarie Oosthuizen has an International Diploma in counseling obtained at Ellel Ministries Bible College (U.K).She has a bachelor of Social Science Degree (UCT); and a certificate of Qualification as a professional Social Worker. She majored in Social Work, Sociology and Psychology. Annemarie is registered with the S.A.
Johan Obbes is an accredited Lay Counselor with the Association for Christian Counselors with an Advanced Certificate in Christian Counseling from The Philippi Trust S.A, and is qualified HIV & Aids counselor. He has an international Certificate in Theology from Teamwork Bible College and is busy with is BA Degree in Psychology and Social Services.

Advise may be given by counselor if required
Consists of approximatively 4 to 5 sessions
Counseling sessions are usually two hours in duration
Maintenance ministry may take place thereafter, either once monthly or as agreed with the counselee-if so desired
Cost per session negotiated as per a sliding scale according to the counselee’s income
